Be Aware: Protect Yourself from Spam

Almost 6,000 people in India lose crores of rupees daily due to spam and fraud calls. Here are some ways to protect yourself:

  1. Never trust unknown callers.
    If someone claims to be from the police, CBI, or any government agency, immediately disconnect the call.

  2. Do not answer suspected spam calls.
    If your phone shows a “suspected spam” warning, never pick up and report it to the government.

  3. If your account is hacked, act immediately.
    Contact the relevant authorities and dial 1930 for assistance.
